As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, we will be undergoing exciting renovations on our Hotel Entrance, Lobby and Reception area from Wednesday April 27 - mid July 2022.
Over the past 10 months the Sebel owner’s community has been engaged in the preliminary planning of the Sebel Quay West Suites foyer refurbishment. The concept design and scope of works have been deliberated upon and tailored to reflect the Sebel’s desired position and competitiveness in the premier Sydney hotel market. It is intended that the foyer refurbishment is one of the final stages in the restoration of the 30+ year old property in line with the major rooms and asset renovations.
Designed by award winning architectural and commercial interior designer Mel Porter. The design elements reference the exterior architectural materiality of the building and the Rocks locality; finishes and colour palette choices and complement the internal architectural elements to ensure they are incorporated and refreshed in a timeless aesthetic. The new foyer will feature luxurious, classic finishes to revive the standard of the guest and residents experience. The refurbishment will complement the recent suite renovations and connect the lobby and mezzanine levels.
INFORMATION FOR GUESTS STAYING AT THE HOTEL DURING THE REFURB:
Prior to Arrival – If you could please advise of your arrival time, so we know when to expect you and also if you could advise us if you require valet parking during your stay?
Prepayment of your reservation – To speed up the check in process when you arrive at the hotel at our temporary reception desk, we would like to arrange prepayment of your accommodation (unless you have already prepaid for your booking), could you please confirm if you would be happy provide prepayment of your accommodation charges by replying to this email or calling the hotel on +61 2 9240 6000.
Arrival at the hotel – Our main Lobby at The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney will be closed from Wednesday 27th April 2022, please proceed to 100 Gloucester Street, The Rocks (Frosted Glass entrance), please proceed to our temporary Reception desk and we will be able to assist you. If you are driving to the hotel, please just park in the waiting bay at the front of the hotel and we will assist you accordingly.
The Quartier Bistro & Bar will be closed for breakfast daily during the refurbishment of the Lobby. Dinner will continue to operate as normal in The Quartier Bar & Bistro and for in-room dining – Tuesday to Saturday evenings from 5:00pm to 9:30pm (Public holidays may affect the operating hours). If you have a breakfast included rate or you are a Platinum member or above, we will provide information regarding the breakfast upon your arrival.
Our Recreation Deck on level 23 is open daily from 6.30am-9pm and hosts our Swimming Pool, Spa, Sauna and Gym.
